There is more than enough parkingspace around the photostudio. The municipally uses license plate parking. For disabled persons you can stop nearby, let the disabled person out and park the car.
By public transportations: Tram line 3 has 2 stops basically in front of our door. De stopname is Hugo de Grootplein. Bus line 18 en 21 stop around the corner. The Marnixstraat, Rozengracht, Bilderdijkstraat, Willem de Zwijgerlaan and Fredrik Hendrik plantsoen are at walking distance. Our photostudio is situated at the roundabout and we have a large building which occupies a whole quarter.

Our studio is on the ground floor, making us easily accessible for prams, buggies, walkers, wheelchairs and mobility scooters (up to 90 cm wide). We take the time for you to take a good passport photo. In our photo studios large mirrors are present, so that you can judge for yourself before making the passport photo whether you are looking right.

It is possible that it is a bit busier at certain times. Normally the passport photos are ready while you wait, in 5 minutes. For example, Saturdays and Wednesday afternoons are generally a bit busier. Our work also takes place outside the studio, so it is possible that we are working outside the door. We indicate this on our google page and by means of a note on the window next to the entrance of our photo studio.

Have your photo taken by a specialized passport photographer. This way you can be sure that the photo is suitable for your document. Nothing more annoying than when you can hand in your photo after some waiting and it turns out to be incorrect. ASA Foto & Film has been the passport photo specialist of Amsterdam for many years and with us you are assured of a good passport photo.

Unfortunately, for some reason, it may happen that the photo does not come through the government scanner. This happens very rarely, but cannot be entirely ruled out. This can occur when the authority buys a new device or has performed a software update, but it can also be caused by incorrect calibration of the machine in question. Of course you are not waiting for this and it is very annoying. You will then receive a letter from the relevant authority and in this way we can reprint or transfer the passport photo for you. Please note, that letter with all passport photos is important to us in order to exchange the passport photos free of charge. is part of ASA Foto & Film.
