The passport photo requirements for Italy are that you must submit two official passport photos in color. Both the passport photo and the visa photo must meet the same requirements of the Schengen countries.

These photos have the following requirements:

Have a white background It is recommended to wear dark clothes Good resemblance and not older than 6 months Have the official format of 35mm wide x 45mm high From chin to crown is between 31 mm – 36 mm Sharp, clear, without wrinkles and of high quality Look straight into the camera and positioned in the center Natural skin tones, good brightness and good contrast Print on high quality paper

The electronic ID card photos have the following requirements:

Have a white background It is recommended to wear dark clothes Good resemblance and not older than 6 months Have the official format of 30mm wide x 40mm high From chin to crown is between 70 to 80% of the photo Sharp, clear, without wrinkles and of high quality Look straight into the camera and positioned in the center Natural skin tones, good brightness and good contrast Print on high quality paper
