The passport photo requirements for Japan are that you must submit 2 official color passport photos. However, the visa, passport photo and driver’s license photo are not equal, as explained below.

If you also need the photo digitally, € 2,50 will be added.

  • Dimensions are 35 mm wide x 45 mm height
  • Head size is between 32 mm and 36 mm in size
  • Distance between the top of the head and the edge of the photo is 2 – 6 mm
  • Face must be positioned in the middle of the photo
  • Neutral look and mouth closed looking straight at the camera
  • Background is even white or off white
