The passport photo requirements for Egypt are that you must submit two official passport photos in color.

Cost of passport photo or visa photo Egypt

We are able to create a Zimbabwian passport photo for as low as € 15,-. With it, you will receive 4 photos. These will be cut and neatly packaged in a small suitcase for you.  

In case you also need a digital variant of the photo alongside your prints, it will cost an additional €2,50. This variant will be sent to your email address. 

You can simply walk in without an appointment at our studio over on Hugo de Grootplein 17 in Amsterdam.  The passport photos will be made for you immediately.   

Though it is not necessary, an appointment can always be made so you can make sure that you can be helped at a specific time if you are currently unavailable. 

These photos must:

  • Bear a good resemblance and have to been taken recently 
  • Background can only be white
  • Have the official size of 40mm wide x 60mm high
  • The head should be between the chin and the top of the head between 70 and 80% of the photo
  • Digital photo size is width: 944 pixels , height: 1417 pixels
  • Not older than 6 months old
  • Printed in high quality photo paper
  • Sharp, clear, good contrast and no markings on the front or back
  • Looking straight and neutral into the camera
  • Natural skin tones
  • No shadows visible on the face or behind it
  • Eyes open and fully visible
  • No facial reflections or red eyes
  • Glasses are allowed provided clear glasses, no reflection and no thick frame, eyes must be fully visible
  • Headgear is not allowed expect for religious reasons.
  • Everything must be visible from the bottom of the chin to the top of the forehead, including the edges of the face
  • For some visas you need a 50mm x 50mm photo

Adjustment in the requirements:

We are aware of the latest developments in the field of the rules and requirements that a country sets for the passport photo. It is possible that a country decides to adjust the requirements for taking a passport photo. Therefore, always take the form that you receive from your consulate with you when you have the passport photo taken. In general, the consulate is the first to receive the new rules. We will then check for you whether the requirements match, so that you are always up to date.
