Passport photo requirements Mexico

The passport photo requirements for a Mexico visa are that you must submit four official color passport photos. Officially, you only have to supply 3 pieces, although four are always requested. Passport photos are taken at the embassy.

Cost of passport photo or visa photo Mexico

Having photos taken for a passport of a visa for Mexico costs € 15.00 with us and you will receive 6 photos.
If you also need the photo digitally, it costs € 2.50 extra.
You can walk in without an appointment at Hugo de Grootplein 17 in Amsterdam, and the passport photos are ready immediately.

The photos for the visa must:

  • Have the official format (35mm width x 45mm height)
  • Have a white background
  • From chin to crown the size is between 31 mm – 36 mm
  • Taken straight from the front positioned in the middle
  • No headwear allowed (provided by religion)
  • No reflection of glasses, earrings, necklaces visible in the photo
  • Both ears must be visible
  • No smile and mouth closed
  • The advice is not to wear glasses in the photo
