Photo requirements Ukraine

The passport photo requirements for Ukraine are that you must submit an official color passport photo. For the passport this means one photo and for the visa this means 2 photos.

Cost of passport photo or visa photo Ukraine

Having passport photos taken for a passport or visa for Ukraine costs € 15,-.
If you also need the photo digitally, it costs a total of € 20,-.
You can walk in without an appointment at Hugo de Grootplein 17 in Amsterdam, and the passport photos are ready immediately.

This passport photo must:

  • Be good looking and recently taken
  • Have a white background
  • Be the official size of 10cm wide x 15cm high
  • The face covers 80% of the photo which amounts to 31mm to 36mm from chin to crown.
  • Be sharp, clear, good contrast and no markings on the front or back
  • Be looking straight and neutral into the camera
  • Have natural skin tones
  • Have no shadows visible on the face or behind it
  • Have eyes open and fully visible
  • Have no facial reflections or red eyes

These visa photos must:

  • Be good looking and recently taken

  • For a visa, the photo must be 35mm wide x 45mm high
  • The face covers 80% of the photo which amounts to 31mm to 36mm from chin to crown.
  • Be sharp, clear, good contrast and no markings on the front or back
  • Be looking straight and neutral into the camera
  • Have natural skin tones
  • Have no shadows visible on the face or behind it
  • Have eyes open and fully visible
  • Have no facial reflections or red eyes

It is possible that a country decides to adjust the requirements for taking a passport photo. Therefore, always take the form that you receive from your consulate with you when you have the passport photo taken. In general, the consulate is the first to receive the new rules.
